Winkelman Heating & Air Conditioning

Winkleman was prompt to come to my house and diagnose the problem with my AC. They recommended me getting an entire new unit, which I agreed, as my unit was 46 years old (!) and the part to MAYBE fix it would cost $600. They got to my house quickly and when I said I was interested in a new AC, they sent over a certain employee who I will not name, quickly, whom was very knowledgeable in his field and helpful in getting me to understand the type of AC I needed for my house. HOWEVER, he recognized my neighbors home who had been a previous employee of Winkleman, and began bashing him. He then told me I needed new duct work and when he found out I was going to call another business and shop around he became pretty flustered. West Texas came in and told me that I did not need duct work. I had been told that Winkleman often says that because it's easy to make a quick buck that way. I paid about $1500 less using west Texas and they were AMAZING. I wouldn't recommend Winkleman.
