Pregnancy

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Dr. Weber is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Burn Association. Dr. Weber has written papers and made presentations to colleagues on the subjects of wound healing, hand, and carpal tunnel surgery.

Mental Health
Liposuction can be performed on men and women of all ages. The best candidates for liposuction are people of relatively normal weight who have localized areas of fat that they would like removed. You should also be in good physical and mental health, with no active medical conditions.

Radiology
This applies to emergency medicine, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, laboratory, neonatology, assistant surgeon, hospitalist, or intensivist services. These providers can’t balance bill you and may not ask you to give up your protections not to be balance billed.

General Surgery
Dr. Baertsch grew up in Hayward, Wisconsin and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and his MD from the University of Wisconsin. He completed a five year general surgery residency followed by a two-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin. After his training in Madison, he traveled abroad during which time he completed a fellowship in Microsurgery in Taipei, Taiwan.
Wound Care
In addition to offering trauma care 24 hours a day, seven days a week at all local emergency rooms, our plastic surgeons staff the Essentia Health Burn Center, treating all burn care inpatients and conducting several outpatient wound care clinics each week.
Ear Surgery
Ear pinning is a specific type of cosmetic ear surgery also called otoplasty. The procedure draws protruding ears closer to the sides of the face, and is most commonly performed on children at age 5 or 6, but some adults choose otoplasty to improve their appearance. Otoplasty offers near immediate results in cases of protruding ears, visible once the dressings that support the new shape of the ear during initial phases of healing are removed. With the ear permanently positioned closer to the head, surgical scars are either hidden behind the ear or well hidden within the natural creases of the ear.
Hand Surgery
I was able to be treated within an hour of arriving as a new patient needing same day hand surgery. I was referred & treated, within 3 hrs after calling as basically an emergency patient, by Dr. Rishavy. Thank you all so much!

Plastic Surgeons

Botox
Botox, or botulinum toxin, is a popular injectable that temporarily reduces or eliminates facial fine lines and wrinkles. The most commonly treated areas are frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes. Several other areas have been treated such as thick bands in the neck, thick jaw muscles, lip lines and gummy smiles.
Brow Lift
Surgery can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids or both. A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, reduces wrinkles, improves frown lines and places the eyebrows in a youthful position.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery can rejuvenate the appearance of your eyes, giving you a more youthful and rested look. The results of eye lift surgery can be long lasting, but they may not be permanent.
Liposuction
Liposuction has become one of the most popular elective surgeries performed today. This procedure, sometimes referred to as lipo, slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits and improving your body contours and proportion. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. If you are bothered by excess fat deposits located anywhere on your body that don’t respond to diet or exercise, lipo may be right for you. This is not a treatment for obesity or a substitute for proper diet and exercise. It is also not an effective treatment for cellulite—the dimpled skin that typically appears on the thighs, hips and buttocks—or loose saggy skin.
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation, sometimes referred to as a “breast aug” by patients, involves using breast implants along with fat transfer as needed to increase the size of your breasts. This procedure is good for patients who would like to increase fullness and projection of their breasts, improve balance of their breast and hip contours or to enhance their self-confidence.
Breast Reduction
Male breast reduction surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure, meaning you won’t have to stay in the hospital overnight. The surgery will be performed under general anesthesia, which means you’ll be asleep during the surgery.
Breast Lift
A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. A breast lift can rejuvenate your figure with a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted. A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and loss of skin elasticity can result from pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, aging, gravity or heredity.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, enhances facial harmony and the proportions of your nose. It can also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose. A rhinoplasty can treat: – Nose size in relation to facial balance – Nose Width at the bridge or in the size and position of the nostrils – Nose profile with visible humps or depressions on the bridge – Nasal tip that is enlarged or bulbous, drooping, upturned or hooked – Nostrils that are large, wide or upturned – Nasal asymmetry.

Lip Augmentation
Facial fillers are temporary to long-lasting solutions administered through a few tiny facial injections on specific areas of the face. Various types of facial fillers are available; each is designed with one or several purposes, such as wrinkle reduction and lip augmentation. Facial fillers will volumize creases and folds in the face in areas that have lost fat and collagen as we age. Hyaluronic acid is the natural filler substance in your body. The face starts to lack volume and appears aged with deeper nasolabial folds, unaesthetic marionette lines, a deeper mentalis fold, the lips start to thin, and turning down the corners of the lips. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm are then injected extraorally right underneath these folds to replace the volume lost which creates a younger look in the face.
Body Contouring
"Mommy makeover" is a catch-all phrase that refers to a specialized combination of body contouring procedures, performed together to improve the physical changes that linger long after pregnancy.
Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing involves directing short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin to remove layers of damaged skin and reveal newer, healthier-looking skin. CO2 laser resurfacing is often used to treat facial wrinkles, scars from acne or other injuries and blemishes caused by sun exposure and aging. CO2 laser resurfacing can be performed on the entire face or just on specific areas.
Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a condition of overdeveloped or enlarged breasts in men that can occur at any age. The condition can be the result of hormonal changes, heredity, obesity or the use of certain drugs. Gynecomastia surgery reduces breast size in men, flattening and enhancing the chest contours. In severe cases of gynecomastia, the weight of excess breast tissue may cause the breasts to sag and stretch the areola. In these cases the position and size of the areola can be surgically improved and excess skin may be reduced.
Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic surgery is surgery that is focused on enhancing appearance. The goal of cosmetic surgery, also known as aesthetic surgery, is to improve a person’s appearance, self-esteem and self-confidence. Symmetry and proportion are desired key outcomes. This is elective surgery, and is not covered by insurance.
