I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, who believes that each person, no matter their experiences with mental health, has the ability to heal, grow, and lead a life full of joy, harmony, and abundance. My focus is creating a trusting, supportive, and safe relationship in which therapy will unfold, and create a positive outcome. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, from the University of Phoenix, and went on to graduate with my Master of Social Work from Delaware State University. My specialized focus is working with people who have experienced social anxiety, relational trauma, addictions, emotional or physical neglect, anxiety, depression, as well as other mental health issues experienced. I am an active and supportive clinician who seeks to understand the life stories, early relationships, and experiences to gain an understanding of the current difficulties that need to be addressed. I believe that despite the challenges people may experience, your bodies and brains are undoubtedly equipped to overcome these types of adversities. Therapy presents a unique opportunity to do just that. While having moments of difficulty trying to function in ever day life, it becomes essential to find relief. I will assist you on how to handle those moments and find relief. My focus is creating a comfortable and safe way to assist you in a therapy that will unfold and create a positive outcome for you to cope with your mental health that is most effective and positive for you. My treatment approach consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, culturally sensitive, emotionally focused, person centered, and trauma focused.
