I bought Stihl chainsaw 6-8-15 for 239.00... I have used this saw 4 times. On 10-29-16 The chainsaw would idle but if you gave it gas the saw would stall out. I took the saw in and mentioned bad gas could not get an answer. They said let us look at it for free. I said call me and let me know what you find. They called and said your saw is fixed. I went in 88.00 dollars for the bill. 8.00 for new fuel filter. 80.00 for labor. The problem is bad gas. I went round and round would not do anything. They never called me. They never told me to buy the additive when I bought the saw to help with this issues. Also, they had 6 saw in the back with same problem.

2 yrs ago I took my riding mower to them due leaking carburetor and they told me they needed to rebuild carb. Several weeks later I paid about $90 for carb rebuild but when tech went to crank mower, carb was still leaking. He said would work on it and call me. Didn't call me but when I called them, they said motor had froze up and they couldn't fix. I talked to the owner, Bill, and told him this was his responsibility as the motor was fine when delivered to them, the only problem was a leaking carb. He said they would try to find a used motor to replace it with. That was 2 years ago and they have never called me back.

I have called and talked to Bill several times in the last 2 years but each time he says they are still looking for a replacement motor. It's obvious to me that they have no plans to repair this engine and are just hoping I will disappear. I would not recommend this shop to anyone
