Overall
Not a professional vet.!

I took my dog to do a check up since I thought she was pregnant but I wasn't too sure about it. I made an appointment as soon as I started noticing changes in her body such as; belly getting bigger, harder for her to jump/walk, tired most of the time, && not as hungry as she used to get.

When I took her in I told them I thought she was pregnant, && the vet said that she wasn't. He said it was just 'retained liquid' && that with a few shots she would be okay. I asked him if he was sure, because if she was pregnant she couldn't get any shots since it might affect the puppies. He assured me that she wasn't pregnant (without even doing a check up) && went on && gave her the shots. 2 weeks later my dog gave birth to 5 puppies, while in labor it was hard for her to push the puppies out && 2 died. One of them died as she was pushing it out && te other one didn't come out till about 24 hrs later. We took her to the vet the morning after she gave birth, I complained to him about not being professional enough to know about her pregnancy, instead of apologizing he got mad && started saying that If I knew she was pregnant why didn't I take her to the vet again(after he ha assured me she wasn't pregnant)!. I told him that I thought she might have another puppy inside since she had only 4 the previous night but I could still feel another puppy inside her. He touched && pushed in her stomach as much as he could. He told me that she had no puppy inside her, it was just te bag where the puppies were in. He gave her another shot for her to push out the 'bag', throughout the day my dog was in pain with contractions but nothing came out. The next morning we found a dead puppy on the floor, covered in blood and some black stains. These 2 incidents really got me mad, my dog could've died. I took her to a different vet, he told us tat the shots were what made her have a hard time with labor && probably te cause of her not having enough contractions for all of the puppies to be born. I had boughten an insurance from the vets animal hospital for 33 monthly, but after what happened am going to cancel this, and if they have a complain or something to say well see each them in court.

Think about it twice before you take your pets to this in humane "vet".!!!!

I loved this place before the doctor retired and sold his practice. I never received a letter to notify me that this happened, so I was surprised when I took my sick pet in and didn't see a familiar face. The doctors there seem to be interested in "defensive medicine" instead of getting down to business and figuring out what's wrong. They performed close to every test under the sun (seems like to "cover themselves") and still didn't figure out the problem. They rehydrated my cat and sent her home with no answers. She slowly recovered despite not knowing what was, and I was surprised to get a call 2 weeks later telling me they forgot to do a few tests "just in case." At this point I was done. I don't give bad feedback lightly, but when I spend a fortune and don't feel like my pet is being taken care of, I can't in good conscious go back or recommend anyone else go there either.

The best I have found!

I have taken all of my dogs to this clinic for the past 15+ years and I have never been disappointed with the level of care that they have recieved. The vets all have a great way with the animals and can get them to calm down even when they are nervous and full of energy. Their level of knowledge is top notch and if it is something that they can't handle they will refer you exactly the right person for the job.

We have been using The Vets for many years, and will continue to use them as long as they are there. They understand that to some people, your dog/cat is not just a pet. Doc is great, and always asks about the missing kids when only one is in the office.
