With all of the great reviews, I was afraid to leave a negative one until I saw khyndman's. Then I thought, "Hmm it's not just me". To put the 5 star reviews in perspective, some opposing viewpoint needs to be given. The two vets here are extremely qualified and talented but their "bedside manner" could use some improvement. As an RN, I have medical knowledge myself. I also believe in safely complimenting traditional medicine with holistic/alternative medicine. This type of self-thinking and wishing to be a participant in your pets healthcare is not well-received here. It is often met with snickers and eye-rolling. I just wanted the reviews here to reflect that this vet is not a good fit for everyone.

I've found Rothman in Collingswood to be staffed with more forward-thinking vets who accept and even appreciate the thoughts and ideas of intelligent pet owners.

I began taking my older cat to Heritage Vet approximately 3 years ago after relocating to the area and at the recommendation of a neighbor, and since, our younger cat for approximately 1.5 yrs now. I have had much experience with numerous veterinarians, both good and mediocre and must say that the doctors, technicians and all of the staff at Heritage Vet are of the very best quality I've ever experienced.



Dr's Weitzner and Rosenberg are two of the best I've ever worked with. Additionally, I'd also like to make a special mention that Rachel, one of the technicians at Heritage Veterinary is actually the best technicians I've ever seen. No question is ever too much, nor does it seem that you are ever taking too much of their time regardless of how extremely busy they are. They always treat your pets as members of your family with love and care and it shows, not only in how they handle the pets but in their voices and extra attention that the give to each and every cat/dog that strolls in and out of their doors. I see this each and every time they all handle my pets and on a few occasions I have had the rare opportunity to watch firsthand the warm handling of other folks' pet while sitting in the waiting room.



When scheduling, appointment times are always made at a time most convenient for me. I always receive a courtesy call a day or two prior to my appointment reminding me not only of my pets' appointment times (in which my pets are mentioning by their first names) . . . but also reminded of the other pertinent information and other items that I need to bring (i.e. those lovely samples, etc). Following my visit, I always receive a follow up call as well, whether it be to check to see how they reacted to any shots received, to be made aware of test results, or any other important information that I may need to ensure they are in good shape.



Prices are in line with any other quality pet care and trust me your pet will receive "top-notch" quality pet care.

The doctors and staff at Heritage treat you and your pet better than family.



Whether you see Dr Rosenberg or Dr Weitzner, each thoroughly examines your pet while attentively listening to you explain what brings you in to the office. They are genuinely concerned and compassionate about your pet and will thoroughly explain the diagnosis and tell you your options for treatment. They don't suggest or promote unnecessary treatments. I believe they just want your pet to get well.



We have been clients at this office for about 10 years and initially found Heritage after having had some pretty cold, impersonal and financially-driven experiences at other area vet practices. During these 10 years, we have brought 4 dogs here for various appointments, both routine and emergencies, and have never once had a bad or brisk experience.



The office and technician staff are also very kind and understanding, exactly what you need when your pet isn't feeling well. And if you're calling with questions about your pet's medications, they are very good about checking with the doctor and calling you back as soon as possible.



And if you have an emergency or serious concern, be sure to mention it when you make an appointment. They will do whatever they can to get you squeezed into their schedule as soon as possible.



I recommend this vet practice. I believe the doctors are honest, fair, and above all compassionate towards pets and their owners. They have done a world of good for our family's pets.

This veterinarian is the BEST!!! They were able to identify my greyhound's immune disorder when other vets could not tell what was wrong. Not only did Dr. Weitzner diagnosis our dog when we first brought him there, but it was also clear that he continued to think about/research our case even after we left. With our dog's disorder there are unavoidable and unforseeable times when we need a visit. Heritage has done everything they can to be available for us whenever we need to come in and be seen immediately. Our dog is doing well and it is totally thanks to the team at Heritage Veterinary Hospital.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the extraordinary care that my dog, Tobie, received from Dr. Bruce Weitzner. Dr. Weitzner never ceases to amaze me as to the quality of care and compassion he displays. He not only attends to the medical needs of my dog, but goes out of his way to explain Tobie's diagnosis and treatment plan to me. Assuring me is not always an easy task, as I am an over protective dog Mom. Dr. Weitzner is never too busy to answer all of my many questions. My Tobie does not respond well to anesthesia. The other day was not an exception. Dr. Weitzner went above and beyond addressing all of Tobie's special needs. The night of the procedure he called to check on Tobie's condition. He even saw him over the holiday weekend, as Tobie had developed some additional problems.



Dr. Weitzner has treated several of my dogs over the years. I never, before today, expressed in writing my sincere appreciation for the care he has provided. My last standard poodle, Sam, received extended medical treatment, including chemotherapy. for cancer. I recall Dr. Weitzner meeting me at his office on Thanksgiving Day to administer Sam's chemo. I felt compelled after our last visit to express my thoughts in writing and thank this dedicated, caring and compassionate physician. Tobie and I are truly blessed to have him as our Veterinarian. This world is a much better place with having Dr. Weitzner as a Veterinarian to care for our loving pets. From Huey, Willie, Sam and Tobie, we say thank you and God Bless You.

I would also like to add that his staff is a reflection of him.. What a great group of people. They are the best!!!

We recently relocated to Mt. Laurel with Hannah,our aging cocker spaniel. Dr.Rosenberg had been recommended to us and we could not have been more pleased. Hannah received excellent care and all staff members were kind and considerate.Dr.Rosenberg was always a phone call away no matter the time or day. Hannah passed away and again everyone was there to help us when we needed it the most.Soon we will be adopting another dog and Dr.Rosenberg will be our vet!

Dr. Rosenberg has been my dog's vet for the last 5 years and I will never go anywhere else. After a long search and being unhappy with my previous vet, I am extremely satisfied with Heritage. All of the staff there are super nice and Dr. Rosenberg is very knowledgeable and always kind to my dog. I highly recommend him!

What a caring, amazing place. We have been clients of Heritage for about 6 years now. First with our dog, Bijou, who had diabetes in his later years. We had switched vets primarily because I felt like a "no name" client at the last vet we used. The staff at Heritage was loving and caring from the moment we walked into the door, until the moment we left. Even at the very end of Bijou's life, we felt that everyone there cared. I have NEVER met a vet who was so compassionate and caring. We finally got a new puppy, and we are looking forward to another warm and wonderful relationship with Heritage. I would HIGHLY recommend this vet.

I have been a client of Heritage Vet Hosp for several years first with an elderly dog an now with a cat. I always get an appointment when it is convenient for me and rarely wait very long in the waiting room before seeing the Dr. When my dog was starting to fail pretty quickly they were always there to lend support to a precious member of our family. They always took the time to discuss all my options. When I finally had to make the decision to put Brandy down they gave me all the time I needed. I was pleasantly surprised that within the week I received a card in the mail signed by everyone at Heritage Vet Hospital showng they understood how much Brandy meant to us.



I would recommend Heritage Vet Hosp to anyone that wants the personal care your pet deserves.

I have been taking my dog to Heritage since the day he was born. I have had nothing but exemplary service from the Vets and the technicians.

I am never rushed through my visits and my questions are always answered - even if I have a hundred of them!

I never have to wait in the waiting room and for the minute or two that I am waiting the techs always are pleasant and engaging. ( i know them on a first name basis!)

The office is always very clean . You wouldn't even know there were animals there!

Taking my dog to the vet couldn't be any easier or more pleasant then going to Heritage Veterinary Hospital.

I just left this vet with my dying cat. This vet is absolutey horrible. Been taking my pets here for years. Came in by appointment today very upset about my terminal cat.

After sitting in the office for over an hour and had to have vet called out by technician twice over the emergency situation I was in. He was so rude and told me to make decision put her to sleep or have extensive testing done. I was trying to ask him questions and he was yelling in my face to make the decision. He did not even look at her. I asked him to and he said its a sick cat thats all I can tell you. I left with my dying cat and will never take another animal to this rude human beding.
