Center Street Car Care

The flex pipe on my exhaust broke when I was moving across the country. I went to a muffler shop that said they could fix it for $250. They couldn't do the work right away so I had to get back on the road. Once in TX, I took my car to another "Honest" mechanic shop where they said I needed to replace my entire exhaust system for over $1500. I took it to Center Street Car Care for a second opinion, and they fixed it for $135, which was the same fix the other shop wanted $250 for. I have been back for other, unrelated issues and inspections and am quite satisfied that I have found a great place to bring my car.

If there was less than one star this place would get it. Beware unless you have money you want to throw away on unnecessary work that isn't needed. Since the original owners retired it's gone down hill. Don't trust these folks. They tried to convince me I needed to replaced parts on my vehicle that had been insalled 6 months ago. I took it to another reputable shop & who said I didn't need any of those parts that everything looks good.
