Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We like the food at Perkins -- their muffins and pies are wonderful. Their service yesterday was beyond awful. It took 45 minutes to get our breakfast with no apologies from the waiter. To add insult to injury, people who were seated and ordered after us got their food first. When the food finally arrived, our bacon (ordered extra crisp) was very greasy and barely crisp. The hash browns had been on the griddle just long enough to get hot; they were hardly browned. I had to remind the waiter twice that I had also ordered a muffin. We had been waiting so long and were so hungry, we just ate what we could rather than send the plates back. The restaurant was not overly busy, so the kitchen should not have been over-whelmed with orders. Unfortunately, this was our first and last trip to this Perkins.

I cant figure out how this place stays in business. Every time i pass by the place is empty. I stopped eating there because the food was very bad . There is no hope for this business. The reputation is ruined in this town.
