Klipper's Barber Shop

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment about a month ago and I really like the atmosphere and the service. I will make this my shop for a haircut whenever I am in the Atlanta area coming from New Jersey.

I have been going to Klippers for years and I enjoy going because of the calm atmosphere, informative (not sports), but, the CNN, ESPN, Local news and the occasional Black history video. The shop is a museum of black history and the owner is very positive, respectful and a firm father and businessman. I will be with him until I leave Atlanta, Ga.

I visted Klippers and was blown away. It's not the rule of barbershop it is the exception. There is no cursing in this shop. It's perfect for my son. They talk and say every thing they want to say but it remains respectable and informative. I was suprised to see women bring their boys and seemed not to be out of their element. It was just a comfortable enviroment. There are three things that stood to me the most. 1) I was greeted when I walked in on my first vist and all vists aftert2) there are is no BET on the TV. The majority of the time I was there the TV was on CNN and ESPN. Third and most important , pause, the picutres on the wall were all Historical African Americans. Not athletes!!!! People who contributed to the advancement of African Americans. It's like a musem. I was impressed. They even had a wall with noting but African American Women. Much success this shop, I wish.
