Professional & courteous, They came to my house within an hour! They are willing to answer a question on the phone for amateur electricians like me. I will definitely use again.

I would caution anyone doing business with this company.



They pulled a classic bait and switch concerning their estimate with me.



I was quoted one rate from the installer (son of owners) and estimator for all work on a two unit property.



The intial work would be completed on the one vacant side and then the rest of the work would be completed when the other side became vacant two months later.



I paid them in full trusting that they were a family run business and i had met both the son (installer) and the father. I felt comfortable with them and thought i would try to help them with the job by waiting until the waiting for both sides to be vacant making the job easier for them, but would pay them for the entire job so they would not have to wait on their money.



Big mistake!!!!!



When the other side became vacant and i informed them to finish up the work, they sent me a new estimate for the services i had already paid for.



Tried to work it out with them. Received mixed and confusing answers from both the son and the mother(co-owner)

as to what was agreed to and what was on my written estimate. I know what is on the estimate and that the son on three different times told me that this is for both sides----everything!!!!!!!!



I was once a contractor myself. I have owned rental property for over 25 years and have worked with many contractors.

I was shocked at the business practices that this company operates under. Either they are incompetent or operate maliciously.



Either way the bottom line is:



Do not do business with this company!!!!!

I have had Belmont Electric Co. out several times over the past few years to fix outlets, light switches, put in a pantry light, outdoor/landscaping light, etc. and they are very quick, patient, knowledgeable, nice, safety conscious, and extremely affordable!

Hired to completely rewire main fuse box. Did an excellent job, ensured that proper permits and inspections were done. Will hire for future work on my older home.
