Dr. Allen has always been there for my pets. They have an awesome team over there and Amy always gets my babies looking and smelling their best!

I really feel like I have overpaid at this vet. I have walked out of this door with a large bill every time I have gone in. Granted the first bill, the puppy was sick, but each following visit has been for shots/check up on fecal and I have been slammed with over a $100+ bill every visit. She charges for an exam every time which was a $49 charge on one bill and a $28 charge on another bill and a $29 charge on the last bill. And it is not like she came in the room and gave her a full exam every visit. The last visit (yesterday) she petted her and gave her shots. I am pretty sure a tech could have done that for $0. They charged me $2.50 for how they dispose of something, which just seems small considering all of the other fees. Nothing is left off the bill and I feel very taken advantage of. (FYI, not expecting a vet to be free, but a little negotiable on some fees.)

Dr. Allen has always been there for my dog and me and I have appreciated the superb care that she has given my rescue dog. She tells it straight so you can make the best decisions for your pet and your family dynamic.

I don't understand all the negative review especially from the person who had not met or talked to dr. Allen.
I have taken my pekingese there 3 times....once for an extreme scratching issue, once for eye infection, and once for severy breathing trouble and she has solved each issue. My peke has been blind since birth and has congestive heart failure and I certainly do not trust her with just anyone. She can also be grumpy and snappy when she doesn't feel good. She took to the groomer instantly. I couldn't believe what I was seeing as she had been biting at me and my husband. On the very 1st visit, the groomer was carrying her around like a baby.
Veterinary care is just crazy expensive everywhere!! In my experience, she is on track with everyone else I have been to.
So far I have no complaints and will upgrade to 5 stars after going there for a while longer.

Definitely felt scammed when we went there. We were nickeled and dimed to death. Paid a couple hundred more than what we intended, for treatments we had later learned were unnecessary. We should have done our research before we took our cat there. Never again.

The worst, most expensive place to take your dogs and the service you receive is sub-par. I won't be back! They charge unnecessary charges when giving a dog their vaccinations, for instance, i was there in August and all 4 of my dogs had an exam, came back 10/27/16 to get them groomed and 1 dog was due a vaccination and they charged ANOTHER exam charge...Ridiculous! i called around to other vets and they told me that was not necessary especially considering the dog just had an exam. One last thing the groomer sucks there. she shaved my Pug but left chunks of long hair on her back legs and chest.

Disgusting place u cant be in room with ur animal very over charged rude and if u dont want ur buisness told to everyone dont use this place u will regret it really bad heartworm treatmebt is 500 ir 600 other places they want atleast 800 to 1500 dr allen is very unprofessional and just sloppy charged 32 for test when i can get it everywhere else for 25

I just want to say that this is the BEST place ever! She is super nice and so good with animals. A friend of mine's little dog was bitten by a snake this evening, I called her a little after 8 and she told me to have him meet her there in 30 minutes and she opened up her clinic to make sure he was a good!!! So thankful!!!!

Hmm. Regarding the comments below - I found just the opposite with regard to prices. Veterinary services are expensive nowadays. Dr. Allen divides her services; so you can pay for just as much as you can afford; but, in order to be a good doctor she must recommend everything the animal needs!

Yes she will rob you blind- I would say I was $100 overcharged. Dirty office - just horrible and you can tell she's not the sharpest knife In The drawer-

This vet is very knowledgable and kind and the best priced I've found in all the towns near us. She makes appts quickly and has no problem speaking with you on the phone if you have questions. I take my 3 animals there and my parents take their 2 cats there as well.

You have had several cases like this, were you forced the bill so high on purpose they couldn't make the bill. Word of mouth is this community is that you are way overpriced, and a robber. You rob people blind. Your humanity sucks. I have never even seen or spoke with you, and even left a message in which you didn’t return. I have only ever talked to the office manager. I would hate to be her and do all of your dirty work. I really don't know how you sleep at night. Your clients have slowing found new vets and I hope with posting this comment you lose a few more day by day until you have nothing. I hope you know how it feels to have you 4 and 5 year old cry tears and don’t understand why their favorite pet is gone. She is a great protector, well mannered, special girl. Maybe you can explain to Betsy why she has to be alone and find a new family. I pray you get to see how this feels. You are a very selfish person. May god be with you, because you're going to need him when you can't support your family, due to the fact that no one will use you as a vet again. I do plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the vet board. I plain to post a blog on twitter and facebook. I plain to post a review in the yellow pages, along with your website. Funny how testimonials on your page are all good and non can be posted, so I had to resort to the guestbook. We are not the dumb white trash you anticipated, now are we? I had to give a star rating of at least 1 to continue on the yellow pages, but honestly they dont even deserve that.
