Christ's Family Day Care

As a former employee there are things about this center that are great but the bad really out ways the good. They have a lot of staff turn over and dont have the children best interests in mind when they schedule. The lead teachers may stay in the same room but the assistants and aid are rotated too much. This makes it really rough and the children dont know what the rules are. which leads to misbehaviors. Discipline is a problem area for this center its often to hard on the children. They often use harsh and strick punishment when a child missbehaves. For example if a child takes off his shoes they will take them away and not return them to the child until it close the childs pick up time. If a child is talking when they should be quiet a teacher will put them out in the hall when they are alone.



They have some staff members who really care about the children and others are just punching a time clock. Not all the staf there is trained, often they are just people who want a job. This is a cause for a lot of the troubles.



The good things are they do have small group sizes and the try to have the children learn new things
