General Info

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Welborn earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and completed her residency at the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, both in Oklahoma City. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Welborn has a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Public Health in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and a Master of Science in biochemistry from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Prior to joining Methodist, Dr. Welborn was on staff at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine earning the rank of associate professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Welborn enjoys caring for patients of all ages, however, she no longer sees women for prenatal care.
