CrushCraft Thai Street Eats

This is my cousin's favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas and so I figured we'd give it a try. It was pretty good. This was good fast thai food, there wasn't anything spectacular about the dishes we tried but it also wasn't bad. If I was in the area and wanted a quick meal, I would definitely stop here for a bite to eat. We had the Phat Ke Mao, Khao Phat, Og Phat Thai, Panang Red Curry, Tom Kha Gai Soup, grilled beef and pork meatballs and the cucumber mint water. My favorite was the Phat Ke Mao, the wide noodles were tasty and not over done, my only complaint is that the beef flavor was quite strong.

The service was great, everyone was really friendly. They offer a little buffet of different sauces to dip or put on your meals by the beverage station. When you walk in, the menu is on the wall, you order your food at the register, seat yourself and they call you up to get your food. There is a small parking lot, free parking.

Not bad: order at the counter from a short menu, wait for your name to be called, pick up and chow down.

So they have a brief short menu on the wall written on butcher paper with sloppy hand written edits: I went for the #6, red curry beef. My dining partners both went for the drunken noodles.

All dishes show up in these paper flat bowls, and both dishes looked, well, meh! Flavor wide, my #6 lacked any excitement, just meat covered in a thick sauce siting over jasmine rice.

Iced tea was great. Probably not worth a second trip for me.
