A-Frame cabins that can sleep up to 4 people along with larger family cabins that can sleep up to 6 people. We are located 1.5 miles west of Custer state park. We have beautiful grand views of Needles mountain along with several rock croppings, pine trees, deer and wild turkey all sitting on 8 acres.         The Roost Resort is a family owned business just outside of Custer, and probably the best campground my family has ever stayed in. The owners are friendly and incredibly accommodating, though we didn't need to even interact with them except to check in. The cabin had all the amenities of home, including cable and wifi, amazingly! It's a five minute trip to Custer, so you don't have to travel far if you forget a toothbrush, but still feels rustic and comfy. In fact, several rabbits and deer wandered into the open area in front of the cabins! The owners leave out feed for them, and they're perfectly happy to stand there and eat while you watch. Can't recommend this resort enough.
