Farm Bureau of Currituck

I currently have home owners insurance with Currituck Farm Bureau well until my house was flooded from a busted pipe. I had one claim through them and just received a letter that they will no longer insure my house. The whole process has been a nightmare its bad enough you have to deal with your house being destroyed now you have to also deal with companies that will not stick behind what service they claim to provide. The night I came home and found my house in the shape it was in I could not reach anyone over the phone I had a two week old daughter at the time and also a four year old daughter so we stayed in a hotel I called the office the next morning and they put me in touch with one of their adjusters out of gates county and he let us know he could be there in a couple of days to look at the house. If you are originally from the area it seems like they will take care of you but do not move from out of town and expect the same result to make a even longer story short they look out for their own and that is it they recommended a contractor to me also and he has been nothing but a nightmare the work is still not done and he calls asking for money every week along with the adjuster calling me telling me to pay the contractor even though the work is not done and the work that he did complete looks like a 4 year old with a hammer and a bucket of nails would have done.
