A couple of the girls are good at giving haircuts but I had them straighten my hair and they damaged my scalp badly. I was laughed at and refused my money. I have since had to see another hair dresser and use expensive products to fix the damage! I do not recommend their services!

This was my first time going here and I hadn't been recommended by anybody so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! It is tucked away in a strip mall but I had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the decorations were colorful and tasteful, the music was nice, everything was clean, the food was delicious and flavorful, there were a variety of food options including vegetarian, and big portions! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be going back.

Our girls night out took us to this little hideaway. We entered with a bit of hesitation on what we'd encounter on this outing - but we left with one of the best experiences we've had in our dining adventures.

This restaurant is tucked into the Kmart plaza in Cromwell and I urge you to find it if in the area. Greeted cheerfully when we entered, we were soon relaxed and ready to explore the menu. If you're not familiar with the Caribbean cooking terminology - all is explained on page 1 of the menu. We started with several apps that we shared. Fried sweet plantains, Firecracker shrimp and Delicious beyond words Imperial crabcakes. All excellent! For my entree I chose the Jambalaya. Oh my, it was a tastebud delight! Spicy and filling! Others had the curried chicken and the shrimp creole - all I heard was ooo's and ah's from everyone. And if your dinner has a choice of the Mac&Cheese - do not pass that up! In fact, order it as a side no matter what. The mom and daughter team that run this place are a fantastic pair - warm and friendly. I have a feeling we will be returning to this place time and again. Go there! You'll love it!!

Food was fantastic! The crab cakes were the absolute best I've ever had, hands down. Everything was great and the owners were the friendliest!

What a place! Great food with very nice presentation. The Mom and daughter who run the restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. Mom cooked up a tasty storm, the likes of which I haven't tasted since my last island visit 15 years ago. This is true Carribean, so not for those unwilling to try something different. A must try. Delicious!

My husband and I took our two young children (2 and 4) there for dinner last night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very friendly.



The food was fantastic! The salad that came before our entree was amazing, words cannot even describe. And that was just the salad!!!



We got the Jerk Chicken, the Griot (fried pork) and the Macaroni Au-Gratin. All three were outstanding. I have to add that the macaroni was especially full of surprising flavors, I didn't want for it to end!



Imperial Caribbean is Cromwell's new hidden gem. I hope we can spread the word about this amazing restaurant. Can't wait to go there again!

This restaurant used to be on Main St Middletown. It was one of the best places on the main st strip - and I was sorry to see it go.

I am thrilled now to have it re-open. This is not you typical "Jerk" restaurant, but a wonderful mix of carribean flavors, touched by the hands of culinary artists!
