Crescent Seafood

Covid 19 or no covid virus, this place is just exceptuonal. We were craving cioppino and saw it on the menu for only $15 a bowl. So we got two bowls and the flour dusted calamari. The cioppino portion was generous full of great shell fish and sea food and a great cioppino sauce. Served piping hot so much so that it was still very hot when we got back to the rental house on the beach. The cippino also came with some great garlic toast. Cant say enough about the cioppino! There there was the flour dusted calamari which was only $10 and a huge portion. It came with a sweet chili sauce and i got tarter sauce and cocktail sauce as well. The Calamari was crispy and well seasoned and all the dipping sauces were great. Now when i picked up the order i noticed smoked oysters so i grabbed two. They had a lil purple tint so i assumed they were marinated in red wine prior to smoking. I popped the first one in my mouth and thought i was in heaven. I smoke oysters myself and i eat them everytime i get a chance. These were exceptional, some of the best ive ever eaten so i called the place on my way home to rave about them. The lady who smoked them answered the phone and told be she marinated them for 3 days in a mixture of mashed blue berries from her garden and smoked roasted jalapenos. OMG im in heaven. I ate the 2nd one and wish i had 10 more. Cant say enough about the quality and quantity of the food. We had enough for dinner and then a filling late night snack. Some might laugh because we are at the coast and there are many resturants but we are going backbthere today for another round of Cioppino, calamari, and at least a dozen blueberry smoked oysters! I will take pictures today and add them in. We didnt think about it yesterday
