Helpful staff and same day delivery to Redding. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Shopping local is the way to go!
Do not buy frigidair products, they will not honor their products. Local retailer, Steve's A-Z in Cottonwood, California is selling these products. Steve told me that he knows nothing about the problems with affinity washers ripping clothes. However thousands of people on the Internet all complain to have same problem! Hmmmm I have found the owner of Steves A-Z, Steve Inns, is not a helpful man. And after my last arrangment with him he does not act like a truthfull man. Steve refused to provide me with a written receipt when he sold my used Frigidair refrigerator and stove. He had many differant answers regarding amount and time of sale.
We had to phyically contact Steve at the Store several times to get him to fulfill his obligations. He conducts much of his business on the QT. No paper trail, no proof of agreement so I wonder if he pays his tax's???? Hmmm We all do. We pay him tax on merchandise and he maintains an undisclosed amount of money for products sold and purchased. Interesting and Fishy. I RECOMEND THAT PEOPLE MAKE THEIR APPLIANCE PURCHASE ANYWHERE ELSE. NOT AT STEVES A-Z. Steve speaks well like a good american small town business man but he deals like a big city con-artist. Now I have Four appliances from him and three of them are on the major complaint list. Nothing I can do about it.

Very poor customer service. It appers that he doesn't need the business. Paid for a fridge and was to be delivered at noon. I called at 12:12am and was told about a hours and they'd call me to let me know they're one their way.No call. I called back at 1:45 pm and was told by steve that they left about 40 minutes ago. I found that funny cause i live five minutes away. Steve wanted to give me his delivery drivers number to find out what was up. That's not my job... I'm the customer . He wont be getting any business from me or my family.

Very poor customer service. I've called for repairs twice on two different situations and they don't call back. I've purchased every appliance in our home, "keeping it local" and there's never a discount even on the very last $800 refrigerator. I'm not going back, and I'm also telling everyone I know to shop elsewhere.

We bought a wall oven,it took 2 months to get it. Production issues. Steve has a really bad habit of not returning calls. Our oven was put in, but was Not Level, the installer left scratches on our floor, The old oven had a pipe vent through the roof. This was left at an angle which let water onto the new oven. When I finally called back again about it Steve told me it was probably leaking already, there was no evidence of that visible on the old oven. He was very argumentative about his friend (35 yrs together) not making mistakes. I mentioned not using his business again, he did not act like he cared at all.

I have used steves a-z appliance over 3 times, each time thinking it would get better! They sent a tech each time that is not only incompetent but can not diagnose problems and orders parts that are not necessary. Each time he had to come back 3to4 times, I guess process of elimination! This was not only costly but time consuming! This last time is was stressful and a nightmare! I will never use them again! The owner is also hard to deal with, doesn't seem to care what his customers complain about! Maybe he should go on a few service calls with this incompetent tech then maybe he would get it!

I spoke with Steve the Owner of this company after his driver reported showing up at my home. The time the driver reported showing up was 2:40pm I arrived at my home at 2:44pm and called the office immediately to see if the driver could turn around and return. The driver informed the secretary that he had already made it half way to Cottonwood in FOUR minutes. Now in order for that to be possible the driver would have to make it through town and onto the freeway. Then travel eight miles up I-5 meaning he would have had to travel at approximately 120mph????? When Steve the owner was confronted with simple arithmetic he stated " I don't have time for this we can come back Saturday if you want" taking now ownership for the dishonesty of his driver. Steve also informed "We are too busy to deal with this" Meaning that business is good for store located in a town with 3,316 people according to the 2010 Census. My thought is pay more and do business locally this place has clearly forgotten that customer service is an important aspect of retaining customers. This is a business that has clearly grown to large and forgotten the importance of customer service. If you chose to do business with them you may get lucky and have a nice experience. However I would shop around for a customer service orientated business maybe if they lose enough of us they will reconsider their operations.

I purchased my washer and dryer here. They were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Steve made sure I got delivery the same day and for a VERY low price! I was so surprised. I will definitey be doing business with them in April when I purchase my new refrigerator with my tax return.

Steve Had a terrible attitude, yelling at his customers, hung up on customer, after yelling & treating customer with no respect. Told customer he has plenty of customers, & she is not that important. Also said"hey dont expect them to be on time", which was never mentioned in the beginning. He allows an hour window, without informing the customers, & yelled & hung up on customer!

Had a washer & dryer serviced & bought a reconditioned stove before a moving away to the mountains. The minor repairs were ridiculously expensive and they put used parts on my appliances. They never called me to inform me my appliances were ready for pickup, I had informed them when I was moving and I had to call them the day before taking a load of stuff to my new house to find out my stuff was ready to pick up. When I got to the store, they said the stove I'd bought wasn't ready after all. Wasn't really a big deal as I had to make the final trip to my new place a week later. I picked up the stove a week later with a trailer and hauled it up to the mountains. When I unloaded the stove the next day, it was not the stove I bought. Wasn't even the same color, or features as noted on my receipt. When I called Steve to ask why I had the wrong stove, he said the stove I bought had a problem so they gave me a different one. Just *happened* to be a cheaper stove with none of the features I bought the other range for. It was filthy and caked with grease. I got no apology for knowingly giving me a different appliance than I bought, no offer to make it right. I asked if he thought it was something he could have informed me of before I hauled it all the way up to the mountains, all I got was a smug "bring it back, and we'll be happy to refund your money". Like I'm going to drive 6 hours and spend $160 in fuel to return a $150 stove. I feel that Steve's knew I was going to be too far away to make the return worth it and pulled a bait and switch. Horrible service. Everything you'd expect a sheisty used appliance salesman to be.

With the market being as competative as it is today, I can admit that I really shopped around before buying. I only needed a new refer, but I also needed my dollar to stretch as far as possible. I dealt directly with Danny and got the best refrigerator for my money. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy from them agagin.

after lengthy comparison shopping of major appliance dealers within 75 miles, I decided to buy my new appliances at steves a-z in cottonwood. Am I glad!. the servicemen they have are courteous and quick and the staff are eager to help. they answered all of my questions and provided me with outstanding service. I was amazed with steves prices when compared to the others offering the same or like. forget the big box stores, ive got nightmares to tell of their customer service and attitude. steves has been there for many years and I know why now. I reccomend them to everyone.

My husband and I are a young couple with a new baby, just trying to get on our feet. When we went to Steve's to get new appliances for our house we where greeted and helped right away. Their level of perfessional and curtious service was evident.I was completely satisfied with the kitchen package that I bought from Steve. He showed us the type of products that we where looking for, and did not try to push us into high priced products that we did not need. I would recomend them to anyone.

Pay more, get more. I should have gone to Carmona's. Steve's A-Z is a business without honesty, their customer service sucks, and they don't know the meaning of ethical. So if you don't mind dealing with dishonest, unethical, poor customer service minded businesses, then shop here for all of it!!!!!!
I just want to say that Steve Inns is one of the nicest men to work for I have ever met. He works from morning till night to serve the customers, and he is truly fair. Outside of people who have taken advantage of his kindness, ie.. severely delinquent payments, he is very negotiable. I have only good things to say. The entire staff really cares about our customers, and the years in business speak for that. I'm sorry that this customer felt so bad about our service. Thank you to all of our current, and future customers for your continued support.
