The new location since May 2009, 250 Briggs Avenue, Costa Mesa, is a light-industrial area surrounded by mostly high-technology firms, shopping centers, business and law offices, and an international airport. It is just over one mile to South Coast Plaza, to the entrance of Orange County John Wayne Airport and to the Irvine Business Complex. See map: Shawn Motors provide friendly service to our customers. If you work nearby, we can provide some form of transport service so you can leave your vehicle for service during a work day. For more lengthy repairs, we can provide a referral for a rental vehicle or you may schedule that during a business trip out of town as we provide you a ride to the airport. Shawn Motors is a complete automotive repair shop with tools and years of experience geared toward repairing German Automobile such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, and others. We can perform mechanical, electrical, collision, body repair and paint. A significant investment was made to obtain the latest electronic diagnostic equipment for engine repairs as well as laser-guided frame repair equipment. Brand new painting equipment was installed for the highest-grade water-base PPG paint jobs using the Prophet II Spectrophotometer ( introduced May 2010 ). Shawn Motors deals with all insurance companies with reasonable rates, we can remove or replace damaged engines and components without subcontracting another mechanic, we do the job from start to finish. Shawn, the owner, is an electrical engineer but his love and passion for cars turned him into an excellent mechanic. Shawn is personally involved in each repair and he answers the telephone if you call ; he and his associates do all work meticulously, with attention to details. Shawn Motors' shop rates are competitive with shops in South Orange County and is generally a little lower. Shawn Motors has a wealth of experience with luxury automobiles and its scheduled maintenance package prices are significantly lower those charged by dealerships. Shawn Motors uses original parts or OEM parts for all repairs. Bring us your business and we will make you a happy customer. Just a side note: Shawn's first customer from day one has an old beaten 1992 Chevy van and drives a Saturn SL2 with manual transmission but he is still treated royally as usual. This is after all a family business and it will succeed if we keep it that way.
