Hard Eight BBQ

Good smoke flavor on the sliced brisket: shame it was bone dry. Sauce to the rescue.
Pork ribs were better. Flavorful and tasty with a little tug to get them off the bone.

Free beans by the soda machine were quite yummy too.

My first experience with real TX BBQ, and it was a solid one! Great selection of tasty BBQ items, and lots of tasty sides to round it out. Friendly folks. Plenty of paper towels (thankfully).

Best BBQ in town! From brisket, jalapeño sausage, pork ribs to shrimp poppers, everything was delicious! Highly recommended.

I always try to make it to Hard 8 when I make my yearly trip to DFW. You pick what you want and how much (always too much in my case) from the pit and add some sides and cobbler. The brisket, ribs and links are great but you have to get a jalapeno shrimp popper as well.

Have never been a great fan of barbeque but the ribs here were wonderful; VERY tender. I would go back again for this. The steak shish kabob was a disppointment; VERY dry. LOVE the greasy french fries. Sausage was also very good.

Tasty BBQ, specifically the chicken and sausage. We take all our out of state visitors for a taste of Texas. Spell out exactly how many slices/pieces you want of each item as they will pile it on and they charge by weight. I recommend for the overall experience.

We often have my children's "last day of soccer" party at Hard 8 - everyone goes through the line and picks out what they want and pays for it themselves so you don't have to worry about getting separate checks at the table. Be careful that your eyes are not bigger than your stomach because all of the food looks amazin on the grill for you to pick out. The patio is great to sit on in all seasons.
