Hayes Family Dentistry

Love these people! Not only are they expert dentists, they really care about their patients. Makes me feel welcome every visit. I’m thankful for a dentist who is committed to pain free treatment which makes going to the dentist less anxiety ridden.

I had came in due to one of my front teeth migrating overnight. I was understandably worried and when I went in the staff was wonderful and helped me feel better about what was going on. My insurance paid for the exam, however the dentist figured that I would need to get my wisdom teeth removed. They told me in order for them to make sure my wisdom teeth are ok for extraction, they will need to do a 300+ dollar 3d image of my wisdom teeth that would not be covered by my insurance. I said ok, what else could I have said, I was worried about my teeth.

I called back 2 days later to ask if anyone had looked at it yet and got the answering machine. I left a message with all a request to please let me know what is going on with my scans.

I never got a call back, so I called back the next day. They were evidently closed on wednesday, so I left a message. Of course I did not get a call back.

I called on thursday and the lady at the receptionist desk said she would have someone call me back. No one did.

I called on friday and the receptionist told me that the scans were unclear and that I would need to come back in to take them again. My question is, why did I have to be the one to chase these people down to know what my $300 purchase ended up resulting in. Why did I have to be the one to reach out EVERY SINGLE TIME? Not ONCE did they return any of my phone calls.

I had explained this was an emergency with how quickly my tooth had moved I was extremely worried my teeth would get worse the longer we waited (and they have). I would have been happy to go retake the scans at any point had they TOLD ME that there was a problem with them. I wouldn't have minded any of this, if anyone had bothered to tell me what was going on.

Not a single call back vs my SIX phone calls. If you want any sort of peace of mind, don't go here. The only redeeming factor was that the ladies were very kind. If only any of them knew how to pick up the phone.
