Elle messed up our entire event! The wedding cake was wrong, my sister's birthday cake was wrong, the decorations were lacking what we discussed, the DJ was wrong, the food was good but had spice in it, which we didn't want as well as we wanted prime rib with bourbon sauce and got rib eye steaks instead. This is just the tip of the iceberg - there's a LOT more that wasn't done to what we discussed and wanted. Like a friend of ours put it simply: We went to a nice party that we paid for but it was for someone else!
After the wedding, she told her boss (Earl Cameron) that she "Nailed it"!
Our wedding was on a Sat night and she was supposed to drop off some of our belongings on Sunday that were left at the venue. After she didn't contact us on Sunday, we left a message for her on Monday, then another one on Monday and finally got ahold of her. When we finally got together on Tuesday, she brought some of our belongings but not all of them and we told her about our displeasure with the wedding. She told us that she would drop off the remainder of our belongings on Wednesday. On Wed, she left me a voicemail that she wouldn't be able to come over because she had to feed her kids. We never heard from her again.
To rub salt into the wound, I had sent her several texts and emails asking for the return of our belongings but she wouldn't respond to anything! I finally contacted her boss (Earl Cameron) and he finally went and picked up the items from her, after she said she had lost them, and returned them to us after almost 3 weeks!
She told her boss that we were over reacting! My wedding cake was wrong and I'm over reacting?! My sister's birthday cake was wrong and I'm over reacting?! She doesn't return my emails or texts and I'm over reacting?! It would've been nice if I had known my wedding cake was wrong BEFORE I cut into it (just as a heads up!)!!!
Apparently she had been fired and then rehired for messing up other events as well.
