        Founded in August 1983 by a Swiss baker, Therese Whitfield, who immigrated to Columbus Ohio, The Suisse Shop has created and maintained products baked with the finest ingredients that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. With well over 300 European recipes as the foundation of the bakery, the Suisse Shop has impressed over a hundred thousand customers with its artistic tortes, cakes, cookies and breads that really do taste better than they look. As the current owner with 25 years of gourmet baking experience, I am extraordinarily proud to represent the fantastic products of The Suisse Shop. By maintaining the highest standards for quality and freshness of ingredients, mixing the unique and proven recipes to the most exacting standards, and artistically decorating our products, we are certain to provide a consistent bakery product to our customers every time. Many of our customers state that the Suisse Shop is the best bakery in central Ohio. With that knowledge in mind, we will never disappoint them by allowing our quality control and high standards to diminish. It is my view that people should never waste calories on grocery store baked, or mass produced frozen, or boxed desserts. Our customers have learned about the amazing difference between our baked products and all the rest, and tell us that they could never go back! Quite a testimony of which we are very proud. Now with the exciting expansion of our staff and facility, we can serve many more customers our wonderful products. Now offering in-bakery and patio seating, you can enjoy many of our products on the spot, with great gourmet coffees from Illy.
