Massive toolage here. They say all the right things on their website, so we went ahead and tried to make an appointment for someone to come out. It was like pulling teeth to even do that. The receptionist didn't have access to the scheduling book. "I'll call you back later," she said. "How much later?" I asked. "Oh, in a little while." "Can you define that?" I asked. She called back a few minutes later and wanted to make an appointment for a day I'd already told her I wasn't available. She seemed fed up with me for that, because she'd gone to so much effort to get the appointment book and all. She then tried to schedule me for a two-hour time slot. I told her I needed a real appointment (the kind adults make). This really cheesed her and she let out a big sigh as she gave me a definite time. I thought about for a while after I agreed, but then I realized that if they can't even be professional about making appointments to get business they sure aren't going to give good service after that point, so I cancelled. When will companies realize that the first point of customer contact is the most important one?
