Hired Susan 45 days ago and she never clearly identified her fees. I gathered all the information her paralegal required and they still nickel & dimed me for emails, phone calls,etc. They verbally told me it would take 3 hours tops to work on my case & charged me for 8 hours, at an hourly rate mind you. When I scheduled an appointment to sign my final paperwork in order to take the case to court I simply asked them if they were going to charge me for setting up the appoinment and how much that charge along with the remaining fees to finish the case would be so that I can financially budget myself and she fired me. I told them they interpreted my email the wrong way and to please acccept my apology and finish the case and Susan said no. When I seen she was a trustee and had years of experience,
I assumed I would get treated fairly and didn't mind paying a little extra to get it done right. However, I have never been so humiliated in my life and I'm now stuck trying to find another attorney to finish my case.
