Dr. Douglas R Schumacher, MD

Doctor Schumacher is not too bad of a doctor considering his office staff. Elain (front desk) and Roberta (billing) are two people you do not want to have anything to do with. Elain has tried telling people what medicines they should take and tried to make a minor child pay for their own bill, with the bill being two years old before a bill was ever sent. Elain also knew that the father was responsible by court order for the bill. Roberta decides who Dr Schumacher may have as a patient and over rules his word. She is unwilling to discuss any kind of billing options. Roberta also tries playing games with patients with statments of "Do you want to see him go out of business?" (over a $54 bill) If that is going to cause him to go out of business then there is a problem in the office!

Doctor Schumacher is most always running behind schedule. I do not mind this because he does take his time with his patients. I think he is a fairly good doctor he just need to get in control of some of his rude office staff.
