Smith Development Company, Fairway Construction has built more than 100 apartment complexes, four senior care facilities and numerous industrial buildings in four industrial parks. Some of the apartment complexes have been partnerships with private and public entities seeking to improve their communities and neighborhoods. Fairway Construction is one of the JES family of companies that was founded in the early 1980s. JES companies specialize in the development, construction and management of all types of housing and long term care facilities. Other JES companies include Fairway Management, a property management company; Affordable Equity Partners, an investment banking service focused on multi-family housing; and Capital Health Management, a provider of health care for seniors. Fairway Construction s headquarters is in Columbia, Mo.
