Usually a change will be brought about within days or sometimes weeks of treatment. On occasion, the symptoms may worsen at the beginning of treatment; this may last for as little as a few hours or as much as a few days and in some chronic cases a few weeks. If there is no improvement in the more significant symptoms i.e loss of appetite within three days of taking the remedy, please call the office. In more critical cases (i.e. bloody diarrhea) we expect a more rapid response to a remedy; therefore, it becomes necessary to follow the case more closely, with frequent phone consults –sometimes every two- or three-days.

Comprehensive Examination
Pricing: The initial consult is one hour. We will discuss your pet’s prognosis, history and current symptoms. In addition, we may make diet alterations when necessary. After a complete physical examination, I will spend additional time researching various medicines which will be best for your pet’s condition. Often times, if the history is extensive, additional phone time may be necessary. The initial consult fee is $340.00. Please take a look at the page entitled “ Homeopathic Therapy » ” for additional information regarding Homeopathic treatment and what you should expect during the course of therapy.

Laser Surgery
Laser Surgery: We have a fully-equipped surgery suite and we provide Ruby Laser technology. Surgical lasers reduce secondary pain response after the endorphins have been depleted by sealing off the small incised nerves imbedded in the connective tissue that are cut during any surgery.

Laboratory Services
Most house calls can be done during the evening hours and occasionally on weekends, if necessary. Cost for a house call is $100 plus additional costs for the examination, blood work and other procedures. Please contact us in advance as it is may require several days to set up a house call.
