Ear Infections
Some patients do report nausea during the treatment, but this side effect is usually eliminated by just removing the mouth-piece and taking in a few breaths of fresh air. If you have an ear infection, had recent ear surgery or have a sinus infection, Pro-Nox can make these conditions worse.

BOTOX™ and Dysport are products that provide safe and effective treatment for deep wrinkles between the eyebrows, called glabellar lines, forehead wrinkles and crows feet. These medications work by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for the wrinkling effect when you change your expression, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles in these areas. Repeat treatments will be needed to achieve a longer lasting effect, and initial treatments don’t last as long as subsequent ones do.
Liposuction
Dr. Robert Motazedi uses the newest liposuction technology to remove unwanted fat from stubborn areas like the abdomen, hips, knees and back. The Colorado Laser Clinic offers Power X technology to remove these fat deposits. Safer by far than traditional surgical liposuction, utilizing only local anesthetic. This minimally invasive technique uses superior technology that allows easy removal of fat deposits causing only minimal damage to the surrounding tissues. That means that the fat cells themselves are gone, never to return. Stomachs, love handles, back fat, knees, thighs and unsightly arms are easy to treat and require little to no down time. Most patients are able to return to work the next day and can resume light physical activity in one week.
Plastic Surgery
(not to be confused with CO2 Fractional ) is still considered to be the gold standard of all laser treatments used to treat wrinkles, photo-aging and sagging skin. Laser resurfacing can take as much as 10 to 20 years off your appearance in just one treatment, but this treatment is dramatically different from traditional plastic surgery. Traditional surgical face lifts reverse the aging process by cutting and pulling up excess skin. Since the surface of the skin is left untouched, sun damage, age spots, rough skin, and large pores are left unaffected. The face is surgically altered to look younger, but on a cellular level is left unchanged.
Laser Resurfacing
Once the scar revisions are completed and fully healed, the patient is ready for CO2 laser resurfacing. Patients will receive a physical prior to treatment. Prepping creams, like Retin A may be required depending upon the patients skin type and skin condition. Patients can expect to remain home following the laser treatment for 7-10 days. Patients will appear to have a mild sunburn for about two weeks with total resolution usually occurring in 6 to 8 weeks. Makeup can usually be applied after the 10 day period. Most patients can begin working out and doing more strenuous activity one month following CO2 resurfacing.

Skin Cancer
Sun damage or Photo-aging of the skin is a direct result of UVA and UVB light exposure. It doesn’t matter if you acquire your tan directly from the sun or from a sun tanning salon, the result is still the same – sun damage. UVA and UVB light both damage and age the skin. UVB are the burning rays that cause the skin to sunburn. UVA wave lengths cause the skin to age with wrinkles, freckles, age spots, spider veins, Rosacea and cause skin cancers. Sunlight is the major cause of skin cancer and skin aging. Colorado's high altitude makes it one of the worst places to live if you are prone to sun damage, melasma, or skin cancer.

Acne Treatment
Lesions
There are different grades of acne, ranging from small open/or closed comedones all the way up to deeper cystic and nodular lesions. Treatments for all grades of acne are designed to control the outbreak because as of yet there is no cure for this condition. Patients need to be evaluated in order to determine which method of control will best suit their particular condition. Grade 1 or acne simplex is very unlikely to cause scarring. It is the patient with Grades III and IV acne that have the greatest risk of scarring.
Chemical Peels
The Colorado Laser Clinic offers patients a variety of lasers, light sources, and chemical peels that treat sun damage and photo-aging. IPL or Photo-rejuvenation, fractionated resurfacing with the Fraxel, CO2 fractional and full-ablative laser resurfacing and Q-switched Nd/Yag lasers can also be used to treat Photo-aging. Patients need evaluated to see which treatment protocol will best treat their particular skin type and condition.
Skin Care
Skin care for patients with either of these conditions should include a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB light. We recommend the use of at least a 30 SPF zinc-based sunscreen product at all times including re-application every few hours for those that our outdoors. Sunscreen should be applied on a daily basis to reduce the risk of sun exposure we get during our normal daily activities. Driving in our cars does not protect us from the sun. In fact, window glass does not stop UVA light. UVA rays pass 100% through glass and are readily absorbed into our skin. Patients with these conditions should also cut back or cut out the consumption of alcohol, spicy food and caffeine because these substances can aggravate Rosacea and accelerate ruddiness. Serums designed to reduce inflammation and redness are also very helpful.

Allergies
Perlane®, Restylane Silk®, Radiesse®, Juvederm®, Sculptra and Bellafill® are all dermal fillers. These fillers are a replacement for older collagen based fillers and offer patients a more natural and longer lasting result. Fillers are designed to replace volume and fill facial wrinkles around the mouth and in the nasal labial fold. Some of these products can be used to add fullness to the lips. All of these fillers do not contain animal byproducts or proteins; thereby eliminating the risk of animal based disease transmission and ethical objections. There is also no allergy testing needed because they are synthetically produced and are substances that are naturally found in the body. Dr. Motazedi administers these products and has been treating patients successfully with them for over 25 years.
