General Info

Founded in 1981, Patient First Medical Centers provide urgent care, primary care, and occupational health services on a non-appointment, walk-in basis from 8 am to 8 pm, 365 days a year. Telehealth services are also available on a non-appointment basis from 8 am to 7 pm, Monday – Thursday, and 8 am to 6 pm on Fridays. Patient First physicians and staff care for routine injuries and illnesses, and provide women's medical services; vaccinations; annual, sports, and school physicals; workers' comp/work injury care; DOT physicals; and more.

Ear Infections
An upper respiratory infection (URI) is a viral infection that affects the respiratory system, including the ears, sinuses, nose, or throat. The common cold is the most frequently caught form of an upper respiratory infection. Other respiratory infections include ear infections, sinus infections, pharyngitis (sore throat), and tracheobronchitis (croup and other illnesses).
Emergency Care
Many prescription drugs, chiefly those prescribed for urgent care conditions, are available at every Patient First. If you need antibiotics for an infection or pain relievers for a fracture, you can get your prescription medications at Patient First and be on your way.

Young adults between ages 9 and 26 are able to receive the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to protect themselves against certain types of cancers that are potentially caused by the HPV virus. The vaccination must be administered on two or three separate instances over the course of six months. The HPV vaccine is available at all Patient First Centers.

Gynecology
Scheduling same-day appointments with your primary physician or OB-GYN can be difficult, so we are happy to provide womenâ€™s services at Patient First. You can visit Patient First anytime between 8amÂ and 8pm, 365 days a year, for your womenâ€™s health needs. If youâ€™d prefer to be seen by a female physician, you can view our physiciansâ€™ schedules online at each centerâ€™s location page and request your desired provider upon check-in.

Kidney Stones
Every Patient First is equipped to provide routine digital x-rays of the chest, abdomen, spine, skull, and extremities. This means if you come in with a fracture, for example, we can confirm the break, put a splint on it, and, if necessary, arrange for you to see a specialist. Our on-site x-ray also helps our physicians diagnose conditions such as pneumonia, kidney stones, and dislocations.
Cervical Cancer
Pap smears are available every day at Patient First from 8amÂ to 8pmÂ on a walk-in basis. Anyone between ages 21 and 65 and who has a cervix should get a pap smear once every three years to screen for cervical cancer, unless recommended otherwise by a medical professional. Once your pap test results are received (generally within a week), you will be notified quickly.
Urinary Tract Infection
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection in the urinary system, usually in the bladder or urethra, but occasionally involving the kidneys. It is often caused when bacteria living in the anal, genital, and vaginal regions enter the urethra and travel to the bladder.

Prescription Refills, when appropriate and originally prescribed at Patient First. Opioids and certain other medications, such as medications to treat ADHD, will not be prescribed during Telehealth visits.

People with weakened immune systems (due to diseases including cancer, organ transplantation, lack of spleen, HIV/AIDS, or medications that suppress or may suppress the immune system such as chemotherapy, anti-rejection medications, and steroids);

Other methods of birth control include condoms, intrauterine devices (IUDs), the rhythm method, the Depo-Provera injection, a hormonal intradermal implant, vasectomy, and tubal ligation.

Your insurance may cover sports physicals at Patient First. We will gladly file your claim for you. Additionally, if Patient First is your childâ€™s PCP, keep in mind that many insurers will pay for an annual physical performed by a childâ€™s PCP with no patient copay responsibility.

Allergies
Allergy injections and Vitamin B12 injections are routinely administered at Patient First. You may receive a referral for an initial evaluation for allergy testing at the allergist's office, but you will be expected to return to Patient First for routine injections.
