Summit County Courthouse is a part of the Summit County government in Utah. The county government operates building, community development, health, information technology, personnel and weed departments. The Summit County government also maintains a public works department that is responsible for tey maintenance of county roads. The department s activities include snow removal, sign repair, sweeping, drainage, flood control, and asphalt, chip and road sign placements. The county government has an engineering department that handles the design review and construction supervision of residential and commercial development projects. It operates the offices of auditor, attorney, county manager, historian, sheriff and treasurer. The county government s health department provides immunization, infant development, early intervention, chronic disease education and health education programs.
