        At Old Fashion K9 we feel that every pet should be well mannered as well as pampered. They will love you regardless of your actions and should be valued as such. Too many animals are mis-treated or end up in the shelters (or worse) many times because we as owners don't know how to handle the problems that may arise. We are happy to have the knowledge to share with all in hopes to help everyone have a happy home. Because we are a small family run business you will get the best customer service around. We are more than willing to spend the extra time to ensure you and your pet are happy. You will find a very personalized experience with any of our training classes. This is one of the best points that are noted on student surveys. Everyone loves the special one on one time and commitment we have to you and your pet.

        We are located on the corner of 12th and Thornton. Previously "Force of One" karate was housed in our building.
        Amenities
        We offer both an outside play area as well as an inside one so regardless of the weather you can be assured your pet will get the excercise time it deserves. We also welcome children (with parent on site) to enjoy our child area which features toys, video games, and movies while your pet is in class.
        Associations
        We will be offerring Canine Good Citizenship certifications in the near future. We have also teamed up with Hope Defined Animal Rescue. Training and fostering is being offerred for the animals in the rescue to help them find forever homes.

        My name is Rowan and I have a Keeshond named Apollo. We have attended Basic Obedience and Puppy class. After a negative experience with another local trainer with our Akita (Which we think has contributed to his insecurity and reactivity) we have definitely made the right choice. There is plenty of one on one individualized attention in a class setting, everyone gets personal pointers and feels welcome! You get the best of both worlds, extra socialization and desensitization opportunities for your beloved companion and the feel of a one on one session. It's a very friendly inviting atmosphere and you are always welcome to ask questions. The training experience from all around the globe definitely shows. Positive reinforcement and knowledge about diet makes me happy! Would recommend to any dog owner! The most important thing is we learn to communicate properly with our dogs based on trust and respect. Hopefully someday Apollo can become a Therapy dog and help people!
