Jamie's School of Fish

My son went to Jamies School of Fish for 3 years. I have nothing but positive things to say. He is 6 now and is an excellent swimmer. The instructors are very professional and knowledgeable. Safe and warm environment. I highly recommend them.

Safe environment, responsive staff, results! This is the place! Step through the cool wrought iron gate into the lushly landscaped backyard of Jamie's School of Fish. Grab a cup of coffee, sit down and watch them work their magic week after week.



This has been my reality for the last 5 years as a mom of two of Jamie's fishes ;). Jamie's staff is patient, focused and friendly. I am an extremely safety conscious mom. My questions are always answered with ease and openness. I feel safe knowing all of their staff is trained in the latest water safety and CPR to keep my child safe at their facility. What is not to love about this place? Go pay them a visit and check it out! You will be impressed. And grab a sucker out of the basket when you leave. Sure, they are for the kids, but Jamie won't mind. ;)

Great school! We took my son there for the baby and me class, and they were very kind and patient. My son cried the first 7 lessons, but they kept working with him, and he loved weeks 8, 9, and 10. They really help children work through their discomfort of the water, and help them to develop a healthy respect for the water. There is no doubt that you have saved the lives of many children in our community.

As a mom of 5 kids I have nothing but positive things to say about JSOF! I have had three of my kids go to JSOF over the last 8 years (my two oldest were already swimming when we moved here). All of them have loved their lessons and their instructors. My two year old son completed three sessions from Jan 2013 to May 2013 and by the end was swimming like a fish. I have two kids that swim competitively and have the utmost respect for Jamie and Jon and their staff!

I've taken my two boys to this school for several years. My youngest was 2 when he started his lessons, and he still asks about his instructor by name. They loved going here, and they actually learned to swim. It's a very friendly place, with lovely gardens and a fluffy cat. The instructors were encouraging and made learning fun. I highly recommend this place.

The instructors here are not professional and aren't trained well enough to know how to handle an emergency, nor are they always attentive enough to what the kids are doing or experiencing. The staff is very kind, but the instructors need better education.
