Neurosurgery Group

My wife went to the Neurosurgery Group in Clinton Twp. to be tested for sleep Apnia but wanted to make sure my health insurance covered it. They sent in paperwork to my health insurance provider and I received a notice that it was completely covered. After getting the test we received a bill for over $700.00 which was supposed to be covered. When we questioned the bill we were told by the Neurosergery Group that the insurance company made a mistake on the initial notice. The insurance company told us the Neurosergery Group did not complete their forms which caused the initial insurance bill to be zero. Also we were told that she had mild sleep Apnia and since then they were annoying us to purchase a breathing machine. They also charged us $60.00 for another office visit to get the results and $117.00 for a piece of paper with results on the same visit. She has been told that the machine was not necessary since it was mild sleep Apnia..by the way they told us that the $1,000.00 breathing machine would be completely covered by the insurance company, another lie. Dr. Frankowski was very arrogant and impolite. This place seems to only in it for the money. Stay away!
