Martinizing Dry Cleaning

NEVER NEVER NEVER TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS STOR AND SPREAD THE WORD. They lost $350 of my clothing which I had a tkt for and told me that I never brought it in. Like i was nuts, but also told them who took the order which they then said they fired the day before. The manager is the owners son, and after talking to them they do not care about customer at all.

This place is awful. I went to pick up my things and the horribly rude lady told me one of my shirts wasn't there. She said it was at the other facility. So either she was telling the truth and for some odd reason they needed to take just one of my shirts across town just to have it washed, OR someone was probably wearing it. Either way, this means I had to go pick up the dry cleaning 2 days after it was supposed to be ready. They also told me I would get 30% off of anything over $30 when I dropped it off. When I picked everything up, they said that it's not over $30 because the shirts that were only washed weren't included so I didn't get 30% off.



Then, I got home and noticed the tie I got dry cleaned has little indents all over it and looks terrible. I had to take it back when I went to pick up the missing shirt so they could try to fix it. I'm still waiting to see how that turns out.



THE MOST SHOCKING PART OF THE WHOLE THING - When I went to pick up the missing shirt, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT!!! I laughed and said that they made me drive back here because my shirt wasn't ready and there is no chance I will be paying for it. She hesitatingly said that's okay.



I went there 3 times, and there were 3 different ladies there. All 3 of them were the rudest people I've dealt with at any type of business in months.



Avoid MARTINIZING on Garfield between 17 and 18 Mile at all costs!!!

The owner of this company "Marty" ruined my comforter and would not take responsibility for it. In court he lied through his teeth and the judge decided there was a "misunderstanding between the two of us". This is not true but the man lied so he only was ordered to pay less then what I was asking for, this is what the judge felt was best to do. This place got their blood all over my comforter also they made all the stuffing in it fall to the bottom. Then he laughed about it. This is the owner! If you know whats good for you, you'll stay far away from his business. He owns one in Clinton Township and one in St. Clair Shores. He is unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. He has no regard for customer complaints and will not own up to his mistakes. I am telling everyone this because I care. Im tired of big businesses treating the customers rude and not caring about our feelings. Its time we all make a stand. Trust me, go somewhere other then Martinizing drycleaners.



Fact 1. There was blood all over my brand new comforter cause by the clinton township store.

Fact 2. This store made the stuffing come loose in it by not following the instructions on the tag

Fact 3. The owner of this store (who also owns the one in St. Clair Shores on Harper) his name is "Marty" is very rude.

I called him at the SCS store and told him that the CT store ruined my comforter and that it also had blood all over it. I told him that the employee at the CT store said "it was not her blood and that she could not repair it with blood on it because it could risk cross contamination because she has cuts on her hands from the work they do and could get infected" HUH? Did she hear herself? Its not their blood but they have cuts on their hand from the work they do? The owner thought that was so funny he laughed out loud. RUDE

Fact 4. He said bring it to the St. Clair shores store and he would repair it. Instead he ruined it even more and said "I tried to make you a happy camper" and threw his hands up as if to say "oh well"

Fact 5. The judge ruled in my favor and he asked the judge if he could have my comforter! "are you kidding me"?

Fact 6. I won

Fact 7. unprofessional,rude,disrespectful and careless.
