They used the head gaskets for a sportster 883 instead of the 1200 which I have when they rebuilt my motor and the excess gasket material burnt the valves & scarred the cylinder walls. I had it back in there more than 6 times since he rebuilt it & finally had to pay someone else to discover what the problem was and correct it. We even found in the repair process that he'd removed parts I paid to have custom machined & put in something else without telling me. The rebuild wound not have even been necessary had he diagnosed it properly. He said he doesn't have enough $ to pay for the problem and I offered to accept reasonable payments but he's non-responsive. I honestly hate that this is most likely going to end up in court because I thought he was a true friend.
