Bumpus Body Shop

I would absolutely recommend avoiding this body shop if you can. We, unfortunately had no choice but to use them to repair our car because of our insurance company and it has been a complete nightmare.. Originally, when we went in to get the estimate for the damages to our SUV we were told that it would only take them a day to repair. However, once we received the insurance check and called back to schedule the repair, we were then told that it would take 3-4 days. Then, after we dropped off our vehicle, they told us that it might not be ready for 5-6 days, but to call back on Friday and they would tell us for sure.. So, on Friday morning we called and found out that they still needed to pick up the parts for our SUV and that it MIGHT be finished that day, but that they would call us and let us know. We received no call and when we tried to call them and ask if our SUV would be ready that day, they wouldn't answer the phone. My husband literally had to drive up there just to find out that they decided to leave early for the day. So, I guess we'll have our vehicle back whenever they feel like giving it to us. Meanwhile, we're paying an arm and a leg for a rental car that we can barely afford. Way to screw over military families, Bumpus!
