Clarkston Junior High School is a Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School. Its curriculum includes math, technology, theater arts, social studies, music and world languages. Its counselors facilitate various groups throughout the school year, including skills for success, fundamentals of friendship and grief and divorce adjustment. It has various clubs that include art, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, drama, forensics, math counts and ski clubs and youth in government. It offers a wide range of athletic programs and activities that include cross-country club and Oakland County seventh and eighth grade track meet. It has a media center providing a wide range of resource materials and is located in Clarkston, Mich.
