Dental Examination
The comprehensive examination is a process in which the doctor gathers information about your child’s teeth, growth, and development to provide a thorough diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan.

Dental X-rays detect much more than cavities. They may be taken to survey erupting teeth, diagnose bone disease, evaluate the results of an injury, or plan orthodontic treatment. X-rays allow dentists to diagnose and treat conditions that cannot be detected during a clinical examination.

Teeth Cleaning
Prophylaxis (dental cleaning): Dental cleanings are important appointments that allow the doctors and hygienist to monitor your child’s oral health. The hygienist will clean and polish the teeth. This helps to promote healthy gums and teeth by removing the plaque that causes decay and gum infection. They will also provide
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride Treatments: Fluoride applications help to strengthen the enamel on your child’s teeth and helps prevent cavities. According to the AAPD, children should be receiving fluoride treatments every six months.
Dental Sealants
Protect the chewing surfaces of the back teeth and should be applied as a child’s permanent teeth erupt. We may recommend sealants for the child’s primary teeth as well. The sealants that we have placed have been highly successful in preventing decay.

Recover the tooth, making sure to hold it by the crown (top) and not the root end. Rinse, but do not clean or handle the tooth more than necessary.
