On October 28 I purchased a bed and matress.Scott tomason and Christopher were very helpful and polite. But your phone system is awful! It took almost 15 minutes before reaching a real person! It kept going backto giving store hours instead of transferring calls.

The first salesman we encountered spent the entire time talking to the male companion that was with me. Even after I pulled out MY credit card and attempted to pay for the furniture, he still spent most of his time talking over me. When we came into finalize our delivery date, they had lost our shipping order and informed us that the soonest they could delivery would be three and a half weeks after our originally promised date. We went through three employees before a manager ( who had been sitting only feet away listening to our entire problem and doing nothing) stood up and told us there was nothing she could do for us. Even though we were paying over three thousand dollars for assorted furniture pieces, and had been promised a delivery date... she could do nothing. It was not until I asked for a full return of my money so that I could take my business elsewhere that she replied that she could maybe call down to the warehouse and check and see if anything could be done. We were given a delivery date one week after our original. We spent that week sitting on the floor watching our television. When the furniture was finally delivered, the delivery men put a large streak in the hallway and damaged the furniture. They did not even stay to fully assemble the furniture, but did not hesitate to open their hand for a tip. All in all I would suggest you go to any furniture store but Ashley. The only positive out of the whole experience is the furniture itself. After reflection, it was NOT worth the hassle that I experienced. Ohhh, and they charged more to my credit card than the receipt showed.
