Buffet House

I had lunch at this resturant today and it was great! I remember when it was china buffet and that was horrible!!
they redecorated the place and it is beautiful by putting liting where it belongs, showcasing the food!!! there tables and booths make so much more sence, A great variety of chinese food and deserts, their soups are hot and wonderful,
i love the wide noodle like bread in the soup, a lot of different seafood dishes and 2 different orange chicken one spicy
and 1 crispy. lot of beef dishes and they have kid friendley dishes, like pizza and fried chicken. they also have a great
salad bar, my favorites are the lobster roles the vegi and fish stuffed shells (real oster shells) the orange chicken and also the the fried cream cheese wontons, the oster shells are great also. it was great and give them a call for prices,
for the variety of food it is good price!! 5 buffet tables with at least 12 choices at each and one very large salad bar!!!

My husband is a chef, and although he isn't the picky eater, I am, especially when it comes to chinese buffets.

There isn't any real good chinese in Chula Vista, so we would have to drive all the way to Pacific Beach just to eat at the "Great Moon Buffet". When I read of their grand opening a couple of months ago, since we got coupons, I decided to give it a try. The place was nice, clean, smelled wonderful and well lit. I asked to go see the food first, because I don't care if the place looks clean, if their food looks a mess at the station bars, chances are someone is going to get sick, I will not touch it. I was impressed with their display and their salad bar, wow! Lot's of choices, well lit stations, good communication between the servers and cooks. Wonderful dishes everywhere, hot steaming soups, clean silver ware. Okay, this place looked great. We decided to dine and the food was BEYOND, I repeat, BEYOND my expectations. Clean, crisp, deliciously and wonderfully flavored, not oily or sauces dripping all over your plate! I watch my sugars, and this place has lots of veggie and meat dishes that leave you satisfied without having to resort to any fried foods or high carb desserts, and even those have never made my sugars rise! Now, we are regular customers at this wonderful place! Highly highly recommend this place. You simply gotta try it!
