Doggie Mat

Today started as a not so great day, after calling literally every petco and petsmart in the I.E. they all told me they couldnt take walk ins and or they didnt have a cat groomer which was ridiculous. I found this place on yelp, after reading some good and some bad reviews i decided to give it a try. And it turned out

The bad reviews were total b.s. on here just angry ppl not getting it their way -____- . Thank you for accomodating my kitty as a walk in. This was a very easy process. Even though they were very busy, as i saw when i walked in they took very good care of my kitty. And i Just finished picking up my kitty SMOKEY. He smells great and was well behaved according to the friendly staff there. I definetly will be coming back. Thanks guys for taking very well care of my kitty and making it possible to take walk ins.!!! ������������

I took my two dogs in to be groomed last week at Doggie Mat a place that I have taken them to for over a year and has always been happy with the results. This time I was not happy and called to let them know that my dogs had been injured. They had been shaved down very close, this was not really a problem I had left word to cut them both short if nessisarry, however I did not expect to get them back with nicks and rasor burn on their, necks, hips, and tail ,raw spots so bad that I had to bath them both with medicated shampoo and put salve on them to stop them from licking and scratching. I called and asked to speak to the owner , a woman came on the line idendtifed herself as the owner and asked what the problem was. I told her that my dogs had nicks and rasor burn and that I did not want the person that had goomed them to groom them again. She said "I groomed them and if you don't want me to groom them you are not welcome back here." She hung up the phone while I was still talking. I do not feel this was very professional and sice she was defensive from the start she was most likely expecting my call to complain about the injuries. With this kind of childish reaction from a business owner I wanted to let those of you out there know what you can expect if you are planning to take your precious pets there, let the buyer beware your dog or cat may not be safe and if you protest don't expect them to care.
