The Strip Shop

This one-man shop does really excellent work. We took in an Eastlake bedroom set with considerable age on it. Much accumulation of dirt in the grooves and carvings, darkened varnish, stuck drawers, the works. The brasses were corroded and in one case bent.

The pieces were completely stripped, repaired, and beautifully restored in a week. They looked essentially new. The work was skillful, the repairs were perfect, the finish was uniform and transparent. We could not be happier.

We will take some more pieces to him this summer.
