        Located in Chicago, Northside Learning Center is a public school that serves students from 14 to 21 years who have cognitive disabilities. It is a specialized school that offers a curriculum covering the areas of daily living skills, occupational preparation, community-based experiences, fine arts, functional literacy, and health and physical education. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, mathematics, science, social studies, communication and computer applications. In addition, Northside Learning Center offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, choir, drama, band and music. The school also conducts classes in occupational preparation that includes cafeteria training, car washing, occupational training and recycling.

        My son is 14 Years old he started this school year in north side learning center and as a mom I see the difference My son come hope more happy and teacher are really understanding. I love It.
