        McDermott Center, doing business as Haymarket Center, is one of the largest nonprofit, adult detoxification and residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Chicago. Founded in 1975, the organization provides community-based social health programs for the community. Haymarket Center specializes in serving the homeless and indigent communities. It has developed more than 30 specialized programs in clinical treatment and serves over 18,000 clients per year. The organization offers a program for adolescents, which includes individual and group counseling and clinical alcohol and drug evaluation. Haymarket Center also operates the Rehabilitative Confinement Program (RCP) and the Work Release Alternative Program (WRAP).
