Located in Geneva, Ill., International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) is one of the leading community-based, voluntary medical associations of over 850 physicians specializing in alopecia and hair loss in the United States. Founded in 1993, the organization provides continuing education to physicians specializing in hair transplant and restoration surgery. The community service association also provides the public the with latest information on medical hair restoration and non-surgical treatment for hair loss. It offers a variety of services in categories, such as hair loss treatment, medical hair restoration, hair transplant surgery and hair replacement, to name a few. International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery is a member of the American Medical Association's House of Delegates (HOD) and is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
