Ilkem Marble & Granite - Cherry Hill

For our kitchen counter tops installation we picked this company because of some reference. The overall the job was not bad but it could be much better.From the quality perspective it's fine-no questions,but they could do a much better job to listen and measure it correctly.Honestly speaking we should double check the measurement before cutting the granite,but we did not, assuming that everything was done based our discussion.When granite is arrived and installed it was too late.So the original measurement paper has incorrect width ( short on about 5 inch ) of the center counter.
When we told them that-they referenced on that original paper and said it was cut based on that.For that amount of money we would expect more attention to details.
So be very careful

Last Friday we entered Ilkem showroom and was surprised at the amount of granite they had in stock. We met with Carmen who answered all my questions. I picked out my granite and the following Monday they sent an employee to make a temp plate of my counters. Yesterday (7/11/2016) the counters were installed and I couldn't have been any happier...fast, informative employees and no problems. I have no problem recommending them to anyone. It was a pleasure dealing with Ilkem!

I was a little leery after reading some reviews online, but I am happy to report that we had an excellent experience with Ilkem. We had them install kitchen countertops, a powder room vanity and also a hearthstone. Chose Ilkem because they carried a textured matte black countertop that was very difficult to find (they call it Blue In The Night). During selection in the warehouse, they were friendly and helpful, and gave us an excellent price. Communication with the office staff was very efficient. Turn-around time was as-promised: 3 days from measurement. We were not yet ready, but they were patient and accommodating. Installer Gene and his assistant were polite, professional and very conscientious and completed the job within the anticipated 3-hour time frame. Throughout the install, they would call us in to make sure every piece was placed and set as expected. Clean-up was thorough, and countertops were in pristine condition when they left.
