X-rays
The first visit will start with a review of your child’s medical and dental history. You are welcome to accompany your child into the treatment area for our initial exam. After a comprehensive examination of your child, any dental findings and treatment will be directly discussed with you. Dental x-rays are then taken if necessary followed by oral hygiene instruction and cleaning. If very young patients are reluctant for either the cleaning or x-rays, we may postpone that portion of the appointment. We want to make your child’s first appointment a positive experience in order to set the tone for future appointments.
