After getting my hopes up twice on bridesmaids dresses, I gave up on them. When walking in they just made me sign in, but there was no organization, and guidance on anything else. The staff was nice, but they really should organize their system a little better. However, I will not be returning to them.

This place was a horrible experience for my bridesmaids & I. I have 6 bridesmaids. 2 of them had the same one shouldered dress while the other 4 had the same strapless dress. Our consultant was Caroline. First, she hardly helped us & when we had a question, she was nowhere took be found.

Second, one of my bridesmaids was getting the one shouldered dress & she ordered her dress that day & Caroline ordered the wrong size so she had to hurry & get a manager to fix it.

Then, when the dress came in & my bridesmaid went to pick it up & it was the completely wrong dress. My bridesmaid told them that it was the wrong dress & the lady that was helping her was completely rude & she was told she couldn't get a refund.

Caroline told us that if one of the 2 girls ordered the dress that day, then the dress would be available for the other one.

So I spoke to the manager & she said that they would look & order the correct dress & just exchange it. Well, the dress was then unavailable.

I talked to my mother in law, my mother, & my bridesmaids & we decided to go somewhere else & find a dress.

So when I spoke to the manager again, she told us there was nothing she could do to make it any better.

So I told her we want my bridesmaids money back & we will take or business somewhere else.

The manager, Debbie, did not care at all that we were leaving.

She said okay, have a good day.

This store had horrible customer service & they should get people in there that know what they're doing before they ruin a wedding.

Yes, I have plenty of time to find another dress, which we already have at Poffie Girls & they're amazing, but still, me being the bride, I have enough to worry about so they could have made this easier somehow.

I do not recommend this store to anybody.

I have been looking for a dress for several weeks now. I have looked online to get an idea of what I liked. I haven't really had need for formal wear, other than a simple black dress since I went to prom 30 years ago! I found a dress on the David's Bridal website. I was a little frustrated to find that it was an "instore only" dress and that the nearest store that had it in my size was 3 hours away. I called the store and found that I could not have the dress sent to a store near me without paying in full for the dress. I went to the Nothlake store expecting horrible service based on the yp reviews. What I found was a pleasant, responsive, attentive salesperson who helped me figure out my size and who found the dress for me to try on near my son's college (where I will be visiting this weekend.) She helped me with 10 dresses in varying sizes, even though she knew I had no intention of buying any of those dresses. She even gave me a $20 dollar off coupon to use when I do find the dress I am looking for. With any luck, I will be able to find the dress I have been admiring and I will have a better idea of what I need.

The people that answer the phone are not very polite and put you on eternal hold! They seem like they are annoyed by you! Plus they are supposed to send you a email when your dress arrives and I never got one! My dress was there for a month! Ugh!!!!!

David's Bridal in pineville is the best. The staff is more organized than the one in northlake. I didn't know what kind of dress I wanted so karen the manager took the time to find the perfect dress for me, I left there so happy i was teary eyed. And the other customers applauded how I looked in that dress. THAT's THE DRESS ! I can't say any negative thing about my experience with them. It depends on the time of day you go there and the day. RUN AWAY!!!!! I bought my dress from David's Bridal in Pineville and had my dress altered at David's Bridal near Northlake Mall. I had almost $1,000 worth of alterations done to my dress. I had almost $1,000 worth of alterations done to my dress. When I came to pick up my dress 10 days before the wedding, they told me to go ahead & sign off on it before trying it on. I told them I wanted to try it on & when I did, I saw it was completely stained all over! They pretended they had "no idea what happened" & said it wasn't a big deal. After meeting with the district manager multiple times they only would compensate me with $30 so I could "go out for lunch because of my troubles". They are terrible & a HUGE scam!!! Take if from me & don't step foot in David's Bridal!!!!!

As far as for David's Bridal itself, I can't say enough good things. They have decent prices & everything is gorgeous; I also love how they can coordinate colors with Men's Warehouse making it very convenient.



As far as this particular location, the customer service is FAR LESS than satisfactory. When you call, IF they answer, you are immediately put on hold and ignored. I have called multiple times & requested a customer service representative, only to listen to the phone ring in my ear continuously as they just simply will not answer.



When you go to the actual store, they are COMPLETELY unorganized. Actually, unorganized is an understatement. There is often a large amount of people waiting at the door to talk to someone, but there is nobody for them to talk to. You see associates walking by, but nobody offers to help. Even if you schedule an appointment, it is useless; you will be left waiting for an extended period of time, guaranteed.



The consultants are friendly, but helpful, not so much. They seem more concerned in making sure you purchase as much as you can, then what your actual budget is.. this makes sense considering the fact they receive commission off of what they sell. RIDICULOUS. They often have more than one bride at a time, and you are constantly left alone to find what you need yourself.



I would definitely recommend that you go to David's Bridal but NOT to this location!! You WILL regret it. Don't bother calling to even ask a question.. they won't answer. And Karen here is specifically awful!



IF A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU WANT, YOU WON'T FIND IT HERE.

When I walked in, I was greeted right away, and assisted momentarily. The sales reps that I had were very helpful and professional. While trying on several dresses, the attendant was very dedicated to helping me,and supported the style I was looking for in a dress. She helped me with every detail.



I really was not sure of my dress size so I guessed a close estimate, when I needed a bigger size, the attendant really tried to assist me in finding the correct fits.The only problem was that the store/company itself had only ordered a few sizes in specific dresses, so the ones I really liked did not fit, and I am not very big...about average.



However, they were dedicated to meeting my needs as well as they could. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, comforting, professional, and the attendant had a great disposition. She chatted with me professionally, yet comfortably, was kind and polite. I enjoyed my experience,even if I did not find exactly what I was looking for, I would still go back and try more dresses.

David Bridal on Northlake Centre Pkwy is horrible. If you want a good experience shopping and being comfortable with picking out a gown please go somewhere else. There customer service skills are horrible and they all have attitude problems Especially the manager she has short hair and is darkskin. Very Very Rude! Trust me go somewhere else dont go there.
